If you've read my disclaimer, you'll no doubt wonder why I'm involved with
anything that involves Direct Selling! The simple answer is that everyone needs
to have an understanding of what is involved in the sales process because our
futures depend on our ability to present ourselves and our points of view.
Essentially,
we are all selling our 'opinions' all the time. Husbands to wives,
parents to children, salesmen to prospects and all or any combination of those.
The scary thing is that even believing in one's own opinions does not guarantee
they are factually based. People believe what they want to believe, in spite of
what might appear, to some of us, to be in obvious conflict with a known truth.
Sales and
Marketing are essential business processes and an enterprise must
allocate an amount of money in its business plan to cover the cost of Sales.
Since business revenue will almost always be the result of the purchase of
goods and/or services, it's logical to incorporate a sales commission into the
price that is paid by the customer.
The
attraction of Direct Selling is that a larger proportion of the end price of
a product or service can be paid out to a professional sales person because
the business will not be incurring the 'up-front' costs of an employee.
Thus,
although the business will pay out a relatively large proportion of the
purchase price, as a commission, the cost of a sale is only incurred after
the
sale has taken place. The more successful sales person is likely to be paid a
bonus for generating more revenue for the business. Hence, the total amount
of commission paid, as a percentage of total sales revenue, by a particular
company, is a useful measure in determining the integrity of a business.
I have no
hesitation in recommending ProBuilderPLUS if you are intent on
building a business presence on-line, with other like-minded individuals around
the world. This may not be the only way to achieve the objective, it may not
even be the least expensive, but it does still offers good value for money, IMO!
